Team LNT Appoint Commercial Director

Following the recent announcement of the teams European PANOZ partnership and agency, Yorkshire based Team LNT has appointed a new commercial director.

Richard Dean will take on the role set out to handle the Panoz European customer support and will oversee the general running of the LNT motorsport business. Alan Mugglestone remains in charge as technical director at LNT with the pair working together on a serious challenge for European GT honours next season.

The appointment of Richard Dean may come as a surprise to many who are used to seeing him around the Formula Ford and Formula Renault paddocks running his own national based racing team, Team JLR.

Team LNT chairman Lawrence Tomlinson commented, “We are serious about our Motorsport ambitions and Richard complements our long term goals. In Richard we have a successful team owner and he will bring experience to the company. We consider this a merger of Team JLR’s staff and experience rather than a single appointment of a commercial director”

Richard Dean had this to say on his new role “This is a new chapter for me in Motorsport, LNT and Panoz have presented me with a fantastic opportunity and having spent some time with the team this year it felt absolutely the right thing to do”. “This is a serious outfit with some quality people already in place and some big ambitions”. “We have set out our short term and long term goals with Panoz I hope to be able to turn the ambitions of the team into a reality”.
