Tomlinson and Dean - Gluttons for punishment!
Having just recovered from the Le Mans 24 hours, our irrepressible and dynamic duo come back for more… This time racing in the Silverstone BRITCAR 24 hour race over the weekend of September 9th and 10th.
Entered in a highly-modified BMW M3 E46 GTR (left) and racing under the banner of Moore International Motorsports (MIMS). Dean joins close friend, American Zak Brown and fellow Le Mans winner Tomlinson to take on the huge 80 car field in the second running European Endurance Racing Club's 24-hour Britcar race in Silverstone.

Both Tomlinson and Dean competed in the race during 2005 but in separate cars. Dean and Brown come back to the MIMS team after a strong showing last year running in the top 6 of the race before hitting gearbox troubles.
“Zak and I know the team, they are well drilled at long distance racing and the car is quick" said Dean. “It was always a life long ambition for both Zak and I to share and race a car together, something I am grateful to Zak for making happen. We were competitive last year and had great fun doing it. How many people can say that about the job they do! Lawrence will only enhance our effort as he has great mechanical understanding and he knows how to get a car to the finish.”
“It will be a nice change from our intense season in the Le Mans series but we always compete to win, not for the fun of it” added Tomlinson.
The upcoming endurance race will be Britain's second annual hosting of the 24-hour endurance race. Spectators can view the 24-hour race via the Web at: http://www.eerc.co.uk/24hrsite/.
